My First Adsense Payout

I got a good start with new year when finally with almost a year and a half of blogging and optimizing my blogs, I got my first payout from Google Adsense Sa Wakas!.

Creating Alternate Ads for AdSense and Clicksor [repost]

PPC ads like Google AdSense and Clicksor are a great source of income for many web site publishers.

You sign up and put the ads on your web sites. They deliver the ads live, with each page load — ads relevant to the content of the page the ads are delivered to. (Well, sometimes they aren't so relevant, but they try.)

The ads are delivered from the inventory of ads they have available.

What happens when no ads are available depends on the PPC ad distributor. AdSense delivers non-profit (non-paying) ads. I don't know what Clicksor does.

Both of those organizations, however, allow you to specify content to display whenever they don't have sufficient relevant ads in their inventory. Instead of their ads, they display your ads.

I will show step by step how to make those alternate ads so they fit within the space allotted for the PPC ads.

You'll be able to deliver your own ads, paying ads or your personal selection of non-profit ads, whenever AdSense or Clicksor inventory runs out.

Adsense Suspended.... What!!!!! AMPF!

I was checking my adsense account when suddenly an error massage flashed to my face.

"Because we could not verify your physical address, ad serving and account access have been suspended. If you believe you have reached this page in error, please email us at adsense-support@google.com."

What the.... Why? I was trying to comply with the verification and yet here it is. AMPF!!

I'm now switching to Widgetbucks and Clicksor for the meantime while my Adsense is down.

Blog Hopping, Optimizing Adsense & Blogging Offline

As of this writing, I don't have an internet connection at home. I don't know the reason why. Thinking that there was a technical problem, I called customer service to check what really happened. Alas, I was greeted only by the answering machine and the constant ringing of the phone. I assumed that everybody was also experiencing this predicament. Well as always my only mean to handle this internet isolation was to do write some blogs offline using my trusty OpenOfficeWriter (I'm an Open Source person, I don't like to limit myself to propriety softwares).

Anyways, during my lunch break earlier, I was able to do some blog-hopping. I aslo joined blog communities like Mindanao Blogger, Davao Blogs and DVO Blog Network to increase the traffic of my blogs. I was able to read some tips about Adsense optimization which I did immediately on all of my blogs.

Now that my Adsense are now optimized, I would hope that would increase my revenue. But still being offline is still a blogger's worst nightmare.
