Social networking websites has been a boom since its inception. People nowadays like to interact and meet new friends thru this kind of online service. Friendster has been the choice of service here in the Philippines while most of the international community flock more to Myspace and Facebook.Facebook initially was restricted to Harvard University then grew in numbers until it now covered majority of US colleges and now Non-college members.
The purpose of joining Facebook: wanting to meet other fellow bloggers on this service. It's good to have many friends but with reports of abuse we should becareful who we add as friends. One advantage that I see with this social network site is that any facebook member who are also developers can contribute for the improvement of the site.
